MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Camp Valor Outdoors is to recognize and honor our wounded warriors and their families with the opportunity to participate in competitive outdoor activities with dignity and respect while empowering them with the skills and motivation to overcome their injuries.


"We want to make a difference in the lives of our veterans - Period!", says John Schwent, Executive Director.


VISION

Camp Valor Outdoors plans to offer the following facilities and services free to wounded warriors and their families who come to rest and heal while experiencing the great outdoors:


ADA handicap accessible facility for lodging or meeting house for special events.


Activities and onsite adaptive sports include:

-competitive guided turkey and deer hunts to include bow, muzzleloader, rifle, and shotgun

-competitive guided fishing

-waterfowl hunting

-sport shooting to include archery, skeet, rifle, pistol, and para-olympic shooting

-explore the country through nature walks and riding ATV’s

-foraging through fruit and vegetable gardens

-bird and wildlife watching/photography

-therapeutic dogs


Warriors can rest in the spa or simply relax around the ever-burning camp fire.
